Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)

TCR Advanced provides Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) for detecting surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials. The method uses dry or wet fluorescent particles under visible or UV light, depending on application sensitivity. MPT is widely used for inspecting welds, fasteners, shafts, and structural components. Our services follow ASTM E709 and ASME Section V standards. We use yokes, coils, and bench units for various part sizes and geometries. MPT enables fast and reliable flaw detection without affecting the part's usability.
