Can you analyze any given powder?

We can analyze only INORGANIC Powders and our charges for the same shall be about US $ 50 per sample (Rs. 1500/- to Rs. 2000/-). If your sample is Organic, then we cannot analyze it. Please allow 2 – 3 weeks time and 12.24% Service Tax on our analysis charges.

Can you analyze a lithium silicate (Li₂O-SiO₂) glass powdered sample?

We regularly analyze inorganic powders such as Palladium Oxide, Copper, Sulphate, Zirconium Oxide, Calcium Silicate, Titanium Oxide, Alumina, Sand, IronOre etc. We therefore can analyze lithium Silicate samples also. You may send us your samples and we can certainly provide you complete analysis as long as these are inorganic compounds. Our charges for such complete analysis will be US $ 100 per sample. We need 2 to 3 weeks time to complete such a job.

Can exact 5 or ppm level of hexavalent chromium be checked at TCR?

We regret to inform you that hexavalent chromium cannot be determined by Colorimetry or Atomic absorption spectrometry. It can only be done by XRD method which TCR presently does not have facilities to undertake.

Can you determine %iron content test on a silica sand sample?

We can certainly take up your job and give you %Fe in Silica Sand sample. Our charges including Service Tax will be US $ 10 per sample. Please note that it would take us one week’s time to complete the job. We will need a minimum 20gm Powder material per sample.

TCR Engineering can conduct test for Moisture Content and Chemical Analysis of Lime Stone. Our charges per sample would be US $60 plus 12.24% Service Tax and we need approximately. one week's time to complete the test. We can also provide sampling/ inspection (drawing sample) services at your vendor's site, at an extra cost. Please let us know if you need these services also for pre shipment inspection.

Yes we can check all the chemical elements of S.G. Iron Castings on our LECO GDS (Glow Discharge) Spectrometer. Our charges will be Rs. 400 for first 8 elements and Rs. 60 for each additional element. Service tax of 12.24% will be extra.

We regret that we may not be able to undertake analysis of your rare earth elements due to lack of standards available with us. We may look into the possibility if you provide us such standards for the calibration of the instrument.

Our charges for analyzing Mo & V in IS 2062 shall be Rs. 120/- for 1st element + Rs. 80/- for each additional element i.e. Rs. 200/- per sample. A 12.24% Service Tax shall also be applicable on total invoice value.

TCR Engineering Services is pleased to inform you that we can undertake analysis of reference alloys. We have been doing so for Brammer Standards Company, USA and MBH Analytical Ltd, UK. Brammer Standard produces and distributes thousands of analytical reference materials. MBH Analytical is one of the world's major producers and supplier of Certified Reference Materials.

Please note that analysis of reference material is done to a greater precision than routine commercial analysis and therefore it costs more than our routine charges.

Can you find impurities down to 10's of ppm in a LAST thermoelectric sample in powder form?

TCR is pleased to inform you that we can analyze such samples for their elemental analysis. We expect to find Al2O3, SiO2, CaO, BaO as well as some impurities from the raw materials, namely: Se, Cu, Bi. We will report content of Al, Bi, Ca, Bo etc. and they can be expressed as Al2O3 etc. We do have an ICP spectrometer which can be used for such purpose and we do analyze sample for this kind of concentration. The cost of such analysis will be approx. US $ 6.00 per element per sample + 12.24% Service Tax.

Can you let us know the chemical composition and grade of our 1/2" diameter pipe Inconel sample?

There are various grades of inconel such as 625, 600, 601, 800, 825 etc. and since our testing charges are based on number of elements tested, we may not be able to give you exact charges but it would be in the range of Rs. 1000/- to Rs. 1500/- per sample. Charges are Rs. 200/- for the 1st element and Rs. 100/- for each additional element plus 12.24% Service Tax. We need approx 1" long tube sample and will need 4 days to complete the job.

Can you test pigment paste (dry pigment powder dispersed in a polyester resin) for 'LEAD CONTENT'?

We can analyze lead in PPM level by use of ICP method. We will however have to standardize the method for your organic sample and therefore we will undertake your job only if you have a regular requirement and number of samples to be tested are at least 3 or 4 in every lot.

If your sample does not contain any organic mater, than we can analyze it on our ICP. Please note that for such analysis, we have to prepare a program by analyzing certain standards and also do the calibration. We do have an ICP and we do analyze Pd in Palladium Catalysts etc for Chemical Industry. We shall be pleased to undertake your job particularly if it is of routine nature. If your requirement is one time only then we beg to say sorry as we have to develop a procedure for preparation of sample (for elimination of organic matter) and then calibration with various standards.
