CHEMICAL ANALYSIS

Chemical analysis for metal testing is a very important test in identifying/ verifying grades of metallic material. TCR ADVANCED has dedicated and qualified staff and well established setup for catering to chemical analysis needs of our clients. We have sufficient stock of certified reference materials for authenticating our testing results.

The Spectro lab of TCR ADVANCED is NABL accreditated testing facility as per International standard ISO/IEC 17025 : 2005 for chemical analysis (Click Here to view our Accreditation Certificate & Scope of testing).

Wet chemical Analysis
This method of testing is very useful when the samples are in powder or a chips form. The samples to this type of testing can be derived collecting chips through drilling the material. We have the facilities wet chemical analysis for ferrous and non ferrous metals. We are capable to perform following tests by wet chemical analysis.

Optical Emission spectrometry
OES technique is commonly referred as spectro analysis by industry people. It is a new emerging technology in metal testing. This technique is accurate, fast ,reliable. In this technique the test sample is sparked with high energy discharge mechanism under inert atmosphere of argon gas. The electromagnetic radiation emitted as a consequence of this discharge will consists of visible and ultraviolet light of various wavelengths. Various wavelengths present in the emitted light depends upon various elements present in the sample. more over the intensity of particular wavelength is directly related to the concentration of that particular element in the sample. hence by measuring the wavelength & intensity of emitted light form spark one can easily identify various elements and quantify them simultaneously. Typically detection limits of these equipments could approach to few ppm. This technique is very useful when the sample is in the bulk form. Such as metal piece.

To keep the pace with modernization and advancement in technology it becomes necessary to supply prompt and accurate results for metal testing. to meet to this requirement. TCR ADVANCED has optical emission spectrometer supplied by "Spectro" Model : SpectromaxX which commissioned in the year 2003. This analysis technique recquires a sample having minimum 20x20x20 mm size. we also have special attachments by which one can analyze a sample as thin as 0.1 mm in thickness.

Presently we are capable to analyse ferrous metals, aluminium base metals, Copper base metals and Nickel base metals by spark analyzer, and purity of metals e.g. Aluminum (Al), Copper(Cu), Nickel (Ni), Silver (Ag), Tin (Sn), Zinc (Zn), Lead (Pb), and Gold (Au).

TCR ADVANCED is providing chemical analysis facilities for accurate characterization and identification of metals & alloys. TCR ADVANCED by wet chemical analysis and by Vacuum emission spectrophotometer with advanced Spectral lab machine SpectromaxX Capable of accurately analyze the Iron base, copper base, nickel base and aluminum base alloys. We are able to test following elements through optical emission spectrometer.
